At C2E2, I met the hyper-stylish, extremely kind people from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, purveyors of scents and soaps to the deliciously literate and haute-macabre. Their zesty "Fool" scent is based on "15 Painted Cards From a Vampire Tarot," a short story by Phoole Fave Neil Gaiman. All proceeds from sales of the fragrances in this series (and their corresponding tees, which are also gorgeous and not to be resisted) go to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, working to preserve the First-Amendment rights of the comic community. Order the scent, and you also receive the corresponding Tarot card, created by Madame Talbot. Spookyween's right around the corner, and these scents are the perfect accoutrement to your Octoberings!
